Tom Matthews is a graduate of Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor of Communications (Theatre/Media).
While studying he focused on physical theatre and circus performance, having the opportunity to work with companies such as Stalker Physical Theatre Company and Patch Theatre Company.
In 2014, Tom performed at the national youth circus and physical theatre festival Catapult as part of Stalkers emerging artists program, and with a local acrobatic troupe in Bathurst called The Straight Up Acrobats.
After moving to Sydney, Tom directed his attention to theatre and film, performing in various plays at the New Theatre, Old 505 Theatre, and Giant Dwarf. His theatre credits include The Chapel Perilous (New Theatre), The Van De Maar Papers (Ratcatch Theatre) and The Forced Marriage (NIDA).
Recently, Tom has been working on short films and a web-series, and performed his own one man comedy show at Sydney Fringe Festival.
