Sally Alrich-Smythe

Sally Alrich-Smythe is currently a Sydney participant in ATYP’s Fresh-Ink program.

Last year, she studied the Masters of Writing For Performance at The National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), where she wrote her first play, Homesick, which premieres in October 2019 at The Old 505.

She also wrote the music for The Other Side of 25, which this year has already been performed in Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne, and is soon to begin a US tour.

Sally is a performer, too. Having completed the diploma of musical theatre at NIDA in 2016, she went on to perform in Chamber Pot Opera, which has seen three Sydney seasons (most recently at The Sydney Opera House), the Adelaide Fringe in 2017,  The Edinburgh Fringe.
