Richard Hilliar is co-artistic director of Sydney independent theatre company Tooth and Sinew, for whom he has directed Osama the Hero, Year of the Family, Scenes from an Execution and Electra.

Other credits include Mr Foot (Clock and Spiel), Asylum (Brave New Word), Orphans (Seeker Productions), King Lear and Measure for Measure (Sydney Shakespeare Festival) and Wittenberg (Brevity Theatre Company).

He is also an actor (occasionally).
