Emma Wright is a Bond University graduate with a Bachelor of Film and Television, and a Diploma from The Actors Studio UK.
A founding member of Eye Contact Theatre Company, in 2019 Emma joined New Ghost Theatre Company’s IGNITE Collective and KXT’s Step Up Team, performed in ATYP’s Intersection: Arrival, New Theatre’s Pygmalion, and toured with Monkey Baa in Hitler’s Daughter.
Her play Hairworm has been staged three times as a script-in-hand read; at Old 505 Theatre in Rapid Reads presented by Apocalypse Theatre, KXT’s Storytellers Festival, and New Ghost Theatre Company’s Unfold Festival at the Old Fitz. In October 2019 it has its first fully-fledged production at Old 505 Theatre.
In 2017 her award- winning short film Anchor (writer/director) featured in ABC’s Grad Season on iView, having screened at 14 film festivals internationally.
Emma is a proud member of MEAA.
