Charles O’Grady

Charles O’Grady is a queer transgender theatremaker whose work explores invisibilised queer stories.

He has written several works for the independent stage, including Kaleidoscope and Telescope (Montague Basement), and Are We Awake? (Red Line, bAKEHOUSE).

Charles has also worked with Griffin, Belvoir and Malthouse in bringing plays with trans themes to the stage, and in 2018 will assist Priscilla Jackman in her production of Still Point Turning: The Catherine McGregor Story at the Sydney Theatre Company.
