Catherine Davies

Artist, Writer

Catherine graduated from QUT with a BFA (Acting) in 2006 and trained at HB Studio, New York in 2010.  She has extensive experience in developing new Australian work alongside working with the queer community and marginalised adults and children. She received the Ashley Wilke Award for Outstanding Commitment to the Performing Arts.

Her theatre credits in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and New York include: Cut Snake, Lord of the Flies, The Kiss, Turquoise Elephant, Back at the Dojo, and, most recently, Bell Shakespeare’s national tour of The Merchant of Venice.

In 2018, Davies will star in Going Down by Michele Lee at Sydney Theatre Company and Malthouse Theatre.
