Aaron Robuck

Aaron graduated from The Australian Institute of Music in 2012 and has now joined the staff there.

Working as a musical director, choreographer and vocal coach. Aaron has choreographed notable productions such as Into the Woods directed by Tyran Parke, Lucky Stiff directed by Barry Quin and most recently, Reefer Madness directed by Paul Geddes.

In 2014, Aaron also launched AIM’s Alumni Theatre Company, Exclaim and was the Musical Director for Exclaim’s productions of Spelling Bee and The Fantasticks.

Aaron’s performance credits include performing in the opening number from Hamilton for The American Australian Association, Usnavi from In the Heights with Exclaim, Big Tim/Ensemble – Rags: A creative development Workshop NIDA directed by Tyran Parke, Julian in Dear World (Neglected Musicals directed by Nicholas Hammond), Swing in Bring It On: The Musical with Supply Evolution and Sonny/Dance Captain in Squabbalogic’s The Original Grease, directed by Jay James Moody.

Aaron has also been a Musical Director and performer in Working Management/Live Ideas immersive cabaret Hidden Sydney: The Glittering Mile at The World Bar; Bare: A Pop Opera at the Depot Theatre/New Theatre; and TimThree In the Bed at the King Street Theatre. He has also been the co-composer-lyricist for three Australian Musicals.
