The Wizard of Oz

This production of The Wizard of Oz, with additional music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics by Tim Rice, choreography by Arlene Phillips and dazzling hi-tech stage effects, originated in London in 2011 and collected the Laurence Olivier Award for the Best Musical Revival in 2012.

Samantha Dodemaide is Dorothy in the production’s Australian premiere. Anthony Warlow is the Wizard, and Lucy Durack and Jemma Rix, the stars of the spin-off musical Wicked, play Glinda the good witch and the Wicked Witch of the West, respectively.

Alex Rathgeber (Tin Man), Eli Cooper (Scarecrow) and John Xintavelonis (Lion) will be keeping Dodemaide company on the Yellow Brick Road.
