The Wait

Date: 3 Sep 2019

Tyler is waiting in the lobby for an important job interview. While he waits, everything that can go wrong, goes wrong.

The Wait is staged in a unique style West calls “microphoned-mime,” which brings together pantomime and sound effects performed live. The show has toured across the United States winning several awards including Best Storytelling – London Fringe Festival, Staff Pick – Minnesota Fringe Festival, Best Solo Show & The Spirit of the Fringe – Tucson Fringe Festival, and the Cultural Exchange Award – San Diego Fringe Festival.

West is originally from Tucson, Arizona, where he graduated from the University of Arizona and received a B.F.A. degree in Acting. He recently moved to New York City to try and make it there.

The Sydney Fringe Festival will be the first time Tyler has performed in Australia.
