Streamed Shakespeare: The Merchant of Venice

Date: 1 Aug 2020

Streamed Shakespeare has performed 13 Shakespearean dramatic readings since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic to an Australian and international audience that recently topped the 40,000 mark.

During that time, their performances have evolved into something more like theatrical productions, including music, video backgrounds, animation and visual effects.

Sydney based actor-director Roslyn Hicks helms the company’s next production, The Merchant of Venice. The cast includes Haki Pepo Olu Crisden as Antonio, Geoff Sirmai as Shylock and Jess Loudon as Portia.
