Red Carpet Cabaret

Date: 2 Jun 2020

For the first time since the Covid-19 shutdown, Darlinghurst Theatre Company returns to live performance with a series of ultra-intimate cabarets for audiences limited to 24 diners in the venue’s foyer restaurant.

Newly appointed Co-Artistic Director, Amylia Harris, says “the reactivation of our foyer and restaurant space is a major step in our company’s post-COVID recovery.”

In coming days:

Maeve Marsden and Libby Wood present their new cabaret, Hot Gin Punch, on June 19, followed Rueben Kaye (June 20) and Mia Morrissey (June 21).

The final weekend of the Red Carpet season sees Daniel Belle and Robert McDougall renuite on Friday June 26 after their acclaimed performances as Jean Valjean and Javert in Les Misérables, both here and abroad.

Andrew Bukenya performs on Saturday June 27 and Andrew Worboys join Pippa Grandison for a show on June 28.

Shakira Clanton (July 2), Timothy Springs (July 3) and Elenoa Rokobaro (July 4) round out the season announcements.
