Pit

Date: 11 Feb 2020

Brigitte has a new job, a new partner; she takes bracing morning swims and spends her sick leave luxuriously.

But when a suspect emerges for the alleged abduction and murder of her teenage daughter more than a decade earlier, Brigitte and her ex-husband Serge are violently pulled back together again.

With this new information coming to light, Brigitte and Serge are forced to reckon with the heavy pain of their past, and the brutal impact this event has had in shaping who they are. Now they can finally move on. Right?

Written by Jackson Used and directed by Mikala Westall, Pit promises a rich, textural exploration of grief, justice and the trauma that comes with waiting.
