Letters to Lindy

Date: 19 May 2018

Featuring a critically acclaimed performance from Jeanette Cronin as Lindy Chamberlain-Creighton, Alana Valentine’s Letters to Lindy provides a deep insight into one of the most compelling legal and human dramas of our times.

Drawing on an archive of 20,000 letters, prayers, threats and apologies mailed to Chamberlain-Creighton in the wake of the death of her daughter Azaria in 1980, Valentine creates a fascinating collage of Australian attitudes to grief, justice, celebrity, and to women who do not conform to expectations.
