This revival of Gale Edwards’ justly celebrated production of Puccini’s opera – now a New Year fixture for Opera Australia – features a melting pot of local and international talent, many of whom are making their OA debuts.

In the front line is Canadian-Lebanese soprano Joyce El-Khoury, who makes her highly anticipated Australian debut in the role of Mimì. She shares role with Latvian soprano Maija Kovalevska.

Also making his debut in this production is the Italian tenor Ivan Magri (Rodolpho)̀.

An all-star cast also includes top-shelf Australia’s singers Julie Lea Goodwin, Lorina Gore, Samuel Dundas, Luke Gabbedy, David Parkin, Shane Lowrencev and Graeme Macfarlane.
