Date: 13 Aug 2019

Written by Caitlin Doyle-Markwick, JobReady is a surreal, dark comedy following a young man on his journey through the degradations of unemployment and into the purgatory of the welfare system, where the call-waiting music never ends.

Big Muscles Sad Heart is a Sydney-based theatre collective made up of Doyle-Markwick, Sarah Easterman and Matte Rochford. Combining physical theatre and political satire, BMSH produces new work that looks the brutal modern world straight in the eye and exposes its heart-breaking and hilarious absurdities.
