Inner West Side: The Musical

Date: 23 Aug 2018

Art imitates Sydney life in this story of Newtown hipsters who conveniently forget their previous 18 years of life in a Liberal voting, blazer-wearing, Polo-driving neighbourhood.

Set to all-original Aussie alt (composed by Tom Cardy and brought to life by a ciggie-rolling rock band), this story of a North Shore runaway who strolls into Newtown determined to become Queen of King Street, will be “kind of like the first time you saw Margot Robbie on Neighbours,” promises writer-director Jake Bayssari. “You just know you’re onto a good thing.”
