First Love is the Revolution

Date: 31 Jul 2020

The latest in Queensland Theatre’s free online series PLAY CLUB is the live reading of Rita Kalnejais’ Griffin Theatre hit First Love is the Revolution.

Julian Curtis, Sophia Emberson-Bain, Bardiya McKinnon, Sarah Meacham, Veronica Neave and Lucas Stibbard will read through this foxy reboot of Romeo and Juliet, a play we thought “one of the most eccentric and beguiling coming-of-age stories you will ever encounter …”

View the reading via Zoom on Tuesday August 4. The event is free but bookings are essential.
