Date: 24 Apr 2018

Move over Phantom, a new superhero is born.

Blackie Blackie Brown is a wild, bloody and twisted origins story from Nakkiah Lui (Black is the New White).

Somewhere in the Australian bush, mild-mannered archaeologist Dr Jacqueline Black uncovers a mass grave. She picks up a skull and is over-powered by the spirit of her great-great-grandmother … Blackie Blackie Brown has arrived and reconciliation is the last thing on her mind.

Her mission? To kill all the descendants of the men who massacred her ancestors.

Megan Wilding and Ash Flanders feature in this Declan Greene-directed production featuring illustrations by Emily Johnson and animations by VFX gurus Oh Yeah Wow.
