Beyond the Barricade

Date: 21 May 2018

This two-hour barrage of the biggest hits from Broadway and the West End is delivered by past principal performers from the London production of Les Misérables: Andy Reiss, David Fawcett, Katie Leeming and Poppy Tierney.

“Our aim was, and continues to be, to deliver these much-loved songs from the top musicals in a way that captures the feel of the original orchestrations, so the audience feels they are listening to the original performance,” explains Reiss who co-created Beyond the Barricade for a charity event in 1996. “We don’t use backing tracks, so every musical note is played and sung live, giving a dynamic feel to the show.”

The production can also be seen at Wollongong Town Hall (June 27) and Riverside Theatres, Parramatta, June 28.
