Away

Date: 14 Jun 2018

First staged at Griffin Theatre in 1986, Away is one of the most widely produced Australian plays in our history, up there with Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, Cosi and The Removalists. It is part of the high school curriculum in four states and is considered a modern Australian classic, open to many interpretations.
This production, geared to HSC students, is directed by Nicholas Christo (Melba, Hayes Theatre) and features David Simes, James Wright, Meg Clarke, Beth Daley, Berynn Scherdt and Veronica Lang in the role of Coral.
