A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Date: 5 Aug 2018

Pop-up Globe’s all-male Buckingham’s Company fuses the poetry of Shakespeare with Māori folklore and language in the story of four lovers fleeing to an ancient forest that also plays host to a group of tradies secretly indulging their love of amateur drama.

Based on the performance tradition of 1614, the Buckingham’s Company will transport you 400 years into the past to perform Shakespeare’s beloved comedy in a custom-built replica of the space for which they were written.
